About Me & Namaste Petcare
Hi There, first- Thank YOU for taking the time to check out my website and find out who I am!
I'm a thirty-something year old gal from San Francisco living in North Carolina. I've had a big love for animals ever since I was a little girl. I grew up in a house with 30+ animals, including a pot belly pig, named sweet pea. When I was 13 I started a dog walking business, I always knew I would be an entrepreneur. And well, here I am- exactly that.
Im a yoga instructor, An herbalist, a Fiber Artist-weave, knit, crochet, sew, and I'm (maybe) your local barista. Im currently studying Psychology and have so many passions. One of them is to create a space for those who are deep in grief. I started Namaste Petcare in 2021. In 2018 I lost my twins, Jaxson and Jude, very late in my pregnancy. Life forever changed after that. The grief has taught me SO much about life and what's important. Im very open with my twins, talking about them and sharing them with everyone has been a way to heal my mama heart.
In 2019, My partner Bryce and I, adopted our Colorado Mt dog, named daisy. in 2020, I said goodbye to my first love, my kitty, Marcello. He was with me through my late teens, all in my twenties and a few years into my thirties. Him and I drove around the states- Washington, California and Colorado, to find a place to call home. He was diabetic and cared for him as much as I could until it was time to say goodbye. (I have lots of experience with senior animals!)
I moved to North Carolina late last fall, in 2022. So far, I LOVE IT. i'm rebuilding my business and learning so much again about life and how very fragile it is.
Some of you may wonder where "namaste" came from and why I named my business that. Namaste means "greetings" and also "the divine in my sees the divine in you." Anytime I would roll out my yoga mat, My kitty Marcello would join me. And then Daisy got into that habit. after a few years of petsitting, every house I went to, I brought my mat and sure enough- every animal, dog or cat- would be right there by me. The Mat is where I find peace and able to breathe deeply. I find in that when the animals join, a sense of peace washes over them.
I hope this gives you a deeper look of who I am as an individual and I hope to hear from YOU!
I look forward to meeting your furry family member!
~Namaste~
